Going out on the mushroom-trip, I still discover mushrooms that I do not know yet. Here is a nice lot of them, pretty big actually, but as far as I can remember I never saw them before.The name is Pestle Puffball (Calvatia excipuliformis, in German: BeutelstΓ€ubling, in Dutch: plooivoetstuifzwam - with thanks to Marc again).
Taken near Laage Vuursche in the Netherlands.

very nice! i've just recently been 'rediscovering' puffball mushrooms........the most intersting one lately is the calvatia gigantea....it's huge! is this one u have edible do u know?

It is just natural light. I was lucky that the sunlight came in from the side.

I do not know me neither....It looks a bit similar to Hydnum Repandum..the mushroom I love to eat
