Early autumn is the best time for mushrooms here. So it is high time for some mushroom shots. After all, sunbeams all the time, that would become boring, would it not? So here a little bunch which I discovered yesterday near Laage Vuursche.Again I have no idea about the species, but hope that someone will help.

omg, yes i have so many mushrooms in my backyard! they're really annoying and last time i tried to kick one.....it got all pissed at me and sprayed black gooey stuff at my shoe...

Woaw, what a nice picture of Kuehneromyces mutabilis (English: Sheathed Woodtuft, French: Pholiote changeante, German: StockschwΓ€mmchen, Dutch: Stobbenzwammetje). This rather common mushroom is edible and it grows in clumps on tree stumps or other dead wood.

I'm wondering if they're edible. Last time I went for a walk with my parents, we found a lot of mushrooms - perfect to fry them with eggs! But we are quite careful, collecting only those of several species we know.

Indeed you cannot be careful enough. You read these stories again and again about people being poisoned.
