Another picture from my walk in the valley of the River Gulp from Slenaken to Gulpen in the south of the Netherlands in late November. Coming from the flat lands of more northerly parts, you experience these lovely dales and hills of southern Limburg as a different world.Related content

Yes, you could have gone sledging here, at least in the shady parts where the sun did not eat the snow away. I actually went there for one of my best walks in years.

Yes, we had early snow this year. And a lot too! Though on that Sunday it only had just been the beginning.

Many, many thanks. Well, I know that modern medicine can do a lot, and so I trust in a good treatment in the course of next year. For the rest I just try to keep going on as normally as possible, and as the prospect is good, I fortunately manage to do so very well.

It is always good to build each other up. The many positive reactions to my journals have been a great help while I was in hospital! It is so good to know that somewhere someone cares and you are not alone.
Well, fortunately I have my family here, and they are a great help. But the devArt and Redbubble friends are an extra crowd of very helpful souls, I have found to my great pleasure.
