It was nice to see this morning how April showers the early spring forest in its beautiful light.Taken near Soest/The Netherlands.

I love all the paths that you hv taken. Is all the paths in the same area?... Or The Netherland just full with beautiful exciting paths....
Makes me wish we have paths like that here in my place...

The path shots are nearly all up to 15 miles around Hilversum. I am afraid most of the Netherlands here in the west is polderland where you have only very few paths. So we appreciate this foresty area with all its paths all the more! And especially praise the people who planted the beech-tree lanes!

The Trees are planted so perfectly align, Its amazing - because I've seen all the path shots you took, and I must say Its very taken care of. Some of the paths look like its been there for decades and some of them look like this amazing english garden.

The large beech-trees are mostly older than 100 or even 150 years. So it is the folk in the 19th century we have to thank for them. Indeed some of the country-house estates are well-kept English gardens, like the one of Groeneveld near Baarn.
