What a lovely walk this must have been with the early sun pouring down upon you. Can almost hear the birds singing in the trees. Restfull shot, very well done.

The diversity! It almost looks fake and it certainly doesn't look 'Hollandish'.
I've never been so lucky as to see such a forest in our country.

Ps. I just looked up where Woubrugge lies. Yes, I am afraid there is no forest around there. If ever you have the chance try the Utrecht "heuvelrug" once. There are so many beautiful places to go to.

Yes, forests like this are quite seldom in this country, especially here in the west of it. It is just a ridge of about 5 to 10 miles broad, an old end-moraine from the last ice age but one, which carries these forests. For the rest it is all polderland.
