Description
This very first picture put on this gallery shows one of the cows of the Horneboeg Heath in Hilversum rubbing its back against a tree in a very convincing fashion. The itch must have been considerable.New title and text, recropped and border added.

Very nice, very interesting moment captured. These cows look a bit like reindeer.

These are very "sweet" cows. They are French Charolais. The lot on the Horneboeg Heath was especially selected for calmness, as dog are still allowed to run around without leash on the Heath. There seem to have been some small problems, but not real ones. In any case these cows make great objects for "shooting" them, as you see also from some of my pics.
