We were very lucky during our short stay at Kiel last week. True, there was one day of heavy rain and one grey day, but we also could enjoy two days of bright sunshine when October up there is at its best.This peaceful Baltic-Sea scene, with clouds being the only ships, was taken at the Bay of EckernfΓΆrde near Karlsminde/Germany.

Well, I don't want to put favs on ALL your pictures!... The forest ones are smashing, but this one is special wrt to the rest of your gallery.
For me, it has high emotional contents: the cloud looks like a flying castle, putting a thread on the calm of the sea. Fav!

I do not mind you faving them all, actually! In any case: I am very pleased to hear that you like just this one so very much. I feel it is somewhat underrated compared to all the beam shots. But I come from the seaside and so will always have a special feeling for it.

Well, I am living in Warsaw, but I spent 7 years in Hamburg, working at DESY research centre. So both the Nordsee and the Ostsee on either side of HH are deep in my memory.
