Description This bit of the trunk of the old oak-tree shows that life will go on. It will be eaten up, and new life will grow out of it.

Because you've made this as a complete landscape image, it also looks remarkably like some gnarly fractal-art!

Truly though, it will live on in other forms, and also, it wouldn't be unknown for a brand new oak tree to spring forth from its midst!

Well like I said on some of the other images of this tree, I think it would make an interesting study. You have already shown us the tree in the first stages of its death why not follow it the rest of the way as it decomposes and feeds the ground to make new plant life.

A nice close up shot of the trunk Jurgen. And nice detail of how nature had already begun it's work before it fell. This image gives the impression it was a huge tree indeed.
