Another picture from that magnificent hoarfrost morning in December 2007 on the Horneboeg Heath at Hilversum/The Netherlands. Your wonderful reactions made me dig in my archive again. The light here is much bluer as the picture was taken about 1 1/2 hours earlier.Related content

What a lovely scene! Hoarfrost makes everyday things, as simple as dried up weeds, look special. We used to live near a river, and during the colder winters, the hoarfrost would spread across the valley coating everything in its path, even our horses' eyelashes and the cats' whiskers

Hoarfrost like on that day happens pretty seldom here too. So I was very lucky that year to be able to go out and about.
