Perhaps I risk a frown from the one or other of you with my unending rose-garden story, but there is still another one in our garden, now indeed the very last one, I guess. Be is so ...Picture exchanged!
The title is an adapted line from Emily Dickenson´s autumn poem:
“The morns are meeker than they were,
The nuts are getting brown;
The berry's cheek is plumper,
The rose is out of town.
The maple wears a gayer scarf,
The field a scarlet gown.
Lest I should be old-fashioned,
I'll put a trinket on.”
