What a strange formed oak... never seen this kind of shape before. Must be over 300 years looking at the size of its stem.

They quite often form like this here on the heath, as they do not seem to manage to build a high stem. At to the age, your guess is very impressive, I must say. Then it will have seen a lot.

My guess was only a guess, nothing more. Looking again at the picture this tree can even be older (at least its base).
