On the Baltic Sea beaches of eastern Slesvig-Holstein you have a wide choice of perfect stones to build a stone man. They are lying there in great variety of sort, form and colour, as they come from all over Scandinavia, having been transported here more than 12 000 years ago in the latest Ice Age.See for my latest stone man shot: [link]

Along Lake Michigan and along the lake where I live which is called Torch Lake. All the upper Great Lakes have rocky shores and beautiful sights like in your photo.
