Apart from that village at the side (you can more feel it than see it), it could have been Holland. Fortunately one can find these places still often enough.

You must have found Normandy very similar to your own home town. Love the way you have captured the carefully planted trees casting their reflections into the water. Very nicely done !!

There were great differences in the Normandian countryside. some parts very much like Holland or Sleswig-Holstein, some very different (especially the rocky coasts). Geologically it is completely different.

The village is Vaux-sur-Aure, on the way from Bayeux to the coast.
