As you see most commentators like it as vivid as it is. I am glad that at last you see my problem. - As fas as I can remember, I used the auto-position for the white-balance here. So that will be part of the problem. On the other spring-lane shot which I submitted yesterday I used sunny, and I do like the colour palette there much better. I must still get used to these positions and continue to experiment with them.
