Here a beautiful spring flower in our garden, called a cuckoo flower or ladyΒ΄s smock, as I have found out by now.[Recropped and border added]

You got it. When I looked at the shot again this morning, I immediately thought: "Dear me, a condolence card!" And that is not what I had intended in the first place by the experiment with a new type of border. I am thus still wondering what I shall do with this type of border. Fortunately the flower shot itself is ok, as pleasantly confirmed also by you. Thanks a lot for reacting at such length.
