Description These two horses are a wonderful example of combined horsepower, I find. They can tow away a real load.

Tomorrow I shall hear more about the load that I shall have to tow in the months to come. I am most grateful that I shall not have to do it alone.

Please allow me here already to thank you all very, very much for your most encouraging comments on my journal. I shall let you know how things go on.

Such a simple picture for such a strong meaning - and it fits, too. I wonder if the horse behind is about to nudge the other as if to say: "Don't forget I'm here. You're not alone."

Yes, it is very good to know that one is not alone. So it was a wonderful feeling when I was there at the hospital that so very many of you all over the world cared about me. It certainly helped to lift my mind up from the fears and pains of the day.

These two resemble the Ardennes draft horses [link] being bay with muscular necks, short backs, and heavy dark feathering typical of that bloodline. I love draft horses and am amazed at the power they possess to move heavy loads. But I wouldn't want to be the one who has to shoe them . Watching draft horses in pulling competitions surely reminds one what the meaning of "team work" is. When they pull together, they can pull tremendous loads; but when they don't, they simply see-saw and go nowhere. We're all pulling together with you towards that successful outcome of your surgery in the future .

Yes, those Ardennes could fit very well. Certainly these are very strong horses. I also phantasize about them carrying a medieval knight with his heavy armour - but they might have preferred a faster type of horse.
Many thanks here too for all good wishes!
