Description

This morning I could enjoy another forest walk here near Hilversum. The autumnal colour mix is nearing its peak, though the greens still hold a strong position.

Temperatures have been mild up to now, and the first frost still has to come. Only then the greens will definitely go. On the other hand we had a lot of wind, even a real storm, and so many trees have already shed a lot of their foliage. Fortunately these trees here had not yet done so! Still there was a lovely carpet on the ground.

On the other hand we had a lot of wind, even a real storm, and so many trees have already shed a lot of their foliage. Fortunately these trees here had not yet done so! Still there was a lovely carpet on the ground.
