I have to agree with the earlier comments made, I too like Wind Turbines. They are also there for our benefit. But I find it completely mesmerising to watch them moving...maybe that makes me sound simple!

That is a beautiful sky and the dark turbine compliments it well. The turbine does not seem to be imposing on the beauty of the sky, it rather accentuates it.

I am especially glad you are so positive about this shot! Yes, moving wind turbines are even better! Especially more than one, blending into each other! A simple photo camera can never get this.

Great photo, the red against the silhouette looks really good. I find the graininess of it a bit distracting though, I suppose something like the digital camera noise removal feature in paintshop pro could get rid of it but it would probably take away some of the interesting detail in the clouds.
I agree with you about the turbines too, they look great, a lot better than any buildings or electricity pylons.

Great you like this shot so much that you comment on it. I avoided up to now to go into the business of correcting the grain. Do not want to temper too much with the original shot, even if it has some minusses. It they are too bad in my own eyes, I just do not submit a shot like that, of course.

I really like it - especially the colours. The turbine works well, it keeps your eye on the centre of it without breaking up the sky.

Thank you. Your comment shows that you, too, have an open eye for the beauty of these things.

No problem. I never could understand why people think that turbines are ugly, I think they're lovely. I kinda wish there were some near me.

Many thanks for reacting.
Yes, that evening gave special light. And extra beauty to the turbines.
