Description
As my last visit to the dead oak tree had happened months ago - actually under wintry conditions: [link] -, I thought it high time for another look. YesterdayΒ΄s misty morning provided a good opportunity for a new shot which I consider as worth to be presented to you.Related content

I do not know whether I found your dead tree.

I am very pleased you agree to the special charms of these trees. It is a pity there are so few around here, but on the other, perhaps that is good too.

A tree like that would have been cut down and used for firewood a long time ago over here...

I realize its potential! But I am glad it was not yet used that way!

I love how the mist changes the light and the color around us. This is such a haunting beautiful scene. Lovely.

I realize that mist is dangerous for many people, but for us photographers it is just a boon.

Lovely dark and deep. Interestingly the first thing that came to mind when I saw this was the place the hyenas hung out from the lion king.

Great you like it. Sorry to disagree about that contrast. If I would add more, that misty atmosphere would vanish. So I rather leave it as it is.
