Such lovely color and gorgeous bloom, reminds me to the time I went to see the rose garden around Franklin Delano Roosevelt's grave in Hyde Park. Nice shot.

Ever so many thanks for all encouraging comments again. Unfortunately I do seem to need them.
But do we not all?

Oh yes for sure, we all need to be encouraged, and seeing that I love to encourage people, it so often comes back to me too....

I opened this because it looked kind of familiar. The colours all looked like lots of my photos ... now I see you're shooting the same combo I have : D80 with 105mm GREAT, isn't it? Lovely hues, gentle beautiful rose. Love it lots.

Thanks a lot. It is a 18-200 mm lense which I use. I am very happy with it, I can say.
Just one more point: How about having a look at my other gallery here on dA, if you do not know it already? Here is the link:

Why do you have more than one a/c?

One with quotations, the other without them. Just a little craze of mine.
There is also a third one, but that is inactive at the moment, as I could no longer cope with keeping up three galleries:

Pretty.. the pale pink roses in my anniversary rose in my gallery are still new looking.. after 3 1/2 weeks!!! The others are dead.. I think pale pink is good value.. well in my case any way

We still have a few hanging on here in Canada. Nice shot with the soft backgound.

Many thanks. There is still one bud on another bush. So perhaps there will be one more shot ...
