The larger beech-trees, contrary to the very young ones, have lost nearly all their leaves by now. Only sometimes there is just a branch to which they still hold on. The February morning sunshine, however, is full of promise: just a few months, and all these trees will be green again!Taken near Hilversum/The Netherlands.

I can often 'see' Tolkien's characters walking in your forest photos. Here, I love how the leaves look like they give the tree wings. You've done it again

Keep trying. You have to do it again and again. And: you must do it under the right circumstances. There are so many days when the forest is just flat. So develop a feeling for the good times.

Lang geleden dat ik zo'n plaat van je heb gezien. Ik vind hem weer prachtig. Hij desorienteerd een beetje doordat je niet echt een aandachtspunt hebt, maar das eigenlijk best lekker. En ja, die herfstbladen in het ochtendlicht dat is gewoon prachtig!

Heel hartelijk dank. Ja, er ontbreekt inderdaad een goed leidend element. Ik heb vrij lang gezocht tussen de bomen tot ik deze met de takjes vond. Maar die zijn weer aan de te kleine kant om de aandacht meteen op zich te trekken. Dan moest het maar de sfeer als geheel zijn. En die lijkt toch velen te bevallen.
