This little pinetree at the foot of a large beechtree has a great symbolic quality in my eyes: Life does go on!And do have a Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year!

It would be interesting to chronicle the life of that pine tree, to see how it fairs against the beech. I hope the beech tree doesn't fall on top of the pine tree!
