Description
Apple-trees in an old orchard, taken near Zeist/The Netherlands. Such high fruit trees are no longer in general use for fruit-growing here. It is all those smaller trees staning in narrow rows where the fruit can be much more easily picked.Actually these trees look as if nobody cares about them any more. Which makes them look a lot more picturesque, I find.

As a child I lived in Bunnik, and we had these trees in the orchard close to where we lived. It was an orchard at the Koelaan (road to Zeist).
