I am very grateful for your lovely comment. I stood and waited for half an hour or so, just wondering how the scene would develop. This was the best of a whole series, most of which I have deleted. Neither ponies nor swans can be trained to stand in line, I am afraid. I hoped for the pony to go closer, but it did not seem to dare. Keeping close to mummy obviously seemed safer.
