Description This is one of the last shots which I took before I broke my Nikkor lense ... Quite fitting to say "Good-bye", I think.

It was a jpeg-picture and came out naturally like this. No filters, just somewhat underexposed.

you angled it a bit to low i guess thats why youve got a silhouette effect. ^_^

Shooting against the low sun gave this effect, I guess.

Nice composition and colors, very beautiful.
It's most regretful that your lens is broken. Nikon will be happy to sell you another but your bank account will be sad. If you still have your Panasonic it can stand in for the Nikon temporarily, it alway did a wonderful job in your hands. Best of luck in replacing your lens, JΓΌrgen.

aw that's so sad about your camera! I hope you get it fixed soon! (if possible). I know camera lenses are hard to fix.... or else you have to buy a new one which I do believe they cost allot.
Great picture by the way!

Great shot! I love the clouds in this and the various silhouettes and highlights you captured here.

I actually use the D80 myself, as well. Its cool to see what other people are shooting with their cameras and what can be achieved with them.

Anyway, neat shot!
