Yes, more mushrooms cause I can imagine the amount of mushrooms that can be found growing next to and inbetween these majestic beeches. These days you can find me strolling these kind of lanes in search of new discoveries... (I mean mushrooms

Yes, more mushrooms to come. Actually it would be nice if I would meet you somewhere here. I must say though that there seem to be fewer mushroom by now than in the first weeks of September. Probably because September was very dry here.

I visit the Netherlands quite often since I live at about 5 km of the border and every year we visit the northern part during the month of April. But I've never been in your region during autumn. There are so much muchrooms to discover here. At this moment we expect a flood of mushrooms since it started raining this week. Last wednesday we discovered some new species. I'll upload some pictures soon.

Ondanks dat het weer heeft geregend zijn er nu niet meer veel paddestoelen hier, vrees ik. In ieder geval niet zo veel als in begin September.

Hier hebben we hetzelfde probleem: te droog om veel paddenstoelen te zien. Maar... er is hoop: vanaf woensdag verwacht men regen. Ik wacht intussen op mijn 3000ste bezoeker. De teller staat nu op 2999!

Intussen zullen er wel weer veel paddestoelen zijn bijgekomen. En bezoekers voor je ook, heb ik net gezien. Het gaat goed! Leuk voor je!

Inderdaad: massa's paddenstoelen! En opvallend veel soorten die ik normaal verwacht tijdens september/begin oktober. Het is te warm voor de tijd van het jaar.
Bezoekers zijn er inderdaad opvallend veel. Heeft dit met mijn thema 'zwammen' te maken? Blijkbaar wel.

Ik ben al 23 jaar bezig met mycologie (studie van paddenstoelen) maar met het maken van foto's van zwammen eigenlijk nog niet zo lang (eens 2 jaar (zo'n 20 jaar geleden) en opnieuw sinds ik mijn eerste digitale camera heb (4 jaar)).
