Description
Compared with the scene of the hoarfrost wonderland, a picture of which I submitted yesterday, the same area in summer may appear comparatively dull. But in spite of all brilliance of the winter spectacle, I must admit that I prefer summer.Taken on the grounds of the country-house Groeneveld near Baarn in the Netherlands.

They actually always lie down in order to ruminate. Only very seldom a cow ruminates while standing. But it is a lovely saying.

Wanneer is dit genomen? Dit kan niet in deze tijd zijn geweest!! Ik heb hier de laatste tijd alleen maar naar paar saaie grote grijze wolken moeten kijken. Alleen vanmorgen niet met de zonsopgang. Heel mooi

Het is in mei genomen, precieser op 4 mei, zoals je in de toelichting onder de foto kunt zien. Ik had er ook beter eerst naar kunnen kijken, want dan had ik de foto beter "winter or spring" moeten noemen. Maar het beeld geeft inderdaad een uitgesproken "summer feeling".
