Description
Just after sunrise this autumnal scene on the Horneboeg Heath here at Hilversum still had a touch a blue. I was glad I had managed to go out reasonably early again to still find this mixture of colours in its beautiful contrast to the brown beech-tree leaves.Related content

I hate to say it but there are many photographers who edit their pictures way too much, and that's where I'm amazed continually with your work. It seems unreal to me that nature can produce such colors.

Yes, the morning blue tones are a real mistery to me too. Generally speaking I know about the cold temperature of the morning light before sunrise which causes this blueness and that our eyes do no longer see it, but the camera does. That is why you are considered to change the white balance. But when you do not change that you get this wonderful blueness.
On the other hand I went out two mornings after each other at the very same early time, and on one day the light turned out to be blue on my pictures and on the other it did not, though the weather conditions were comparable. Here I am really at a loss myself.

That's a lovely shot, I really quite like the dense atmosphere and the misty feel. There is also a nice variation in colours, both warm and cold hues are present
Very nice work!

With the leaves in the foreground and the path leading into the distance, this almost seems 3D. Lovely shot.

Yes, I agree that this looks like a painting because of the focus and softness of the edges. Very amazing photograph!

Yes, we are extremely lucky with the beauty of the area around Hilversum, especially up to Baarn and Bilthoven. And this little path just south of Hilversum is only 1 mile away from where we live. So it may seem common to many. I actually never look at it in such a way. But I must immediately add that it was the light which made it even more beautiful yesterday morning.

Light can do many things to a photo, it can create something beautiful as in shot was the case. It can also destroy a photo, when used incorrectly. It's capturing the light that makes of breaks a photo.

this just begs to be a painting....in fact if we didn't know it was a photograph one would think it was a painting. beautiful shot.

Yes, the light and some haze can be the greatest painter.

I thought about that after I wrote that. A photographer is a painter with the camera lens. Thank you for sharing such a beautiful photo!
