Description
It is the year 100,000 and all of the galaxy is at war. Who are you siding with?

Since the fall of the Tyrants of old and the consecration of the Goddess as the sole leader of humanity, the Hegemony has enjoyed a long and comfortable dominance over the Galaxy. However, the great system put in place to preserve humanity is beginning to buckle under the combined weight of its old foes returning as well as new foes appearing seemingly out of nowhere. Though on the eve of the new millennia it may seem like the Hegemony remains the strongest bastion for humans in the galaxy, there is no telling how long that will last before a new kind of tyrant can rise above and take over.

Each faction contains an army with a series of different subfactions (color schemes.) As far as power levels, all factions are on par. And all factions have lore reasons to fight the other 7 as well as itself.

How each army plays

HEGEMONY: generalist army that responds to all threats with overwhelming force. Overkill is far more holy when it is willed by the righteous wrath of the Goddess.

COMMUNITY: Fragile units with high damage; do not have the most advanced equipment but make due with what they got. Requires a steady supply of an economy unique to this faction called "Ammo."

MORTUARY: Elitist army that starts relatively weak but get exponentially more powerful each turn. Death means nothing to them, as all units are transcendent in this plane of existence.

INFIRMARY: Tanky and slow units that regenerate health each turn but require the sacrifice of their own blood in order to use most of their skills. The flesh must break before it can heal.

FACTORY: Heavily reliant on chance and risky rolls in order to determine the flow of the battle. The worst rolls are twice as bad but the best often come with additional benefits.

SERENITY: Magical units that rely heavily on tricks and illusions to gain the advantage on an adversary. Though weak physical, most are capable of abilities most mortals would consider "mystical."

ANOMALY: Entirely alien army featuring sentient gas, light, radiation, crystal formations, etc. as their roster. Unusual play style revolving less around directly attacking the enemy and more re-configuring the playing field to be hostile towards your adversary.

OLIGARCHY: Horde army that functions differently whether they are fighting underwater or on dry land. While in water, they are SEABORNE and thus move faster, have better melee, but are more fragile. While on land, they are LANDLOCKED and thus have much better range, are more durable, but are slower.
