Since I've been getting the hang of the Character Recast Meme, I thought I should try it on my #1 favorite animated film—the original Land Before Time.

Forget recasting Sharp Teeth. It is still one of the scariest T-Rex's I've ever seen on screen. Even now when I'm old enough to know better.

I've come across this before, it's interesting. I really like Iroh as Rooter and Pumbaa as Spike.

IKR? I always thought he was immature at first, but over time, he actually became my favorite character from ATLA, not just because he's hot, but because he's from in media res of his life in the beginning, to a man in the end.

Something confuses me, though. I'm not sure how Rainbow Dash is, but Cera can be quite a jerk. Also, Pumba could talk, but Spike can't. As well as this, the WWD Tyrannosaurus was a caring mother, while Sharptooth was the embodiment of the word "monster".
EDIT: Just looked at Rainbow Dash, and she seems to be a bit hot-headed, too. Still confused with the others, though.

I can't give you a solid answer why I thought Pumbaa when seeing Spike, but both are jolly (in their own way), plump and eat a lot. I cast the WWD rex as Sharptooth because if someone else were to make a Character Recast Meme of The Land Before Time, odds are 100% that the T. rex from Jurassic Park will be the candidate.
Recasting someone based on similar personalities is only half of the fun of the meme. Syncing the footage with the audio is the other half.
Getting back to Sharptooth, there are some scenes that mesh well with some of the T. rex scenes from WWD. The shot where Sharptooth jumped out of nowhere right behind Ducky has the same shock value as the shot where the mother T. rex jumped out of nowhere and ate the invading Didelphadon. Both projects feature scenes of a Tyrannosaurus down and out, right down to the literal eye-opener. It'd take a little editing to make the parallels exact, but they're still there.

Of all the characters recast for your picture here, my favorites are Bambi as Littlefoot (because of how The Land Before Time is, in a way, a prehistoric Bambi. Thus, the casting is perfect in my opinion) and Jeremy as Petrie (mostly because of how I wish Dom DeLuise had voiced a character for The Land Before Time, and considering that both characters were the comic relief for their respective Don Bluth films).
