Description
Not really a pun, but I rewatched all three versions of The Thing, and decided to combine it with Kermit⦠yip.Ink and Photoshop.

1982's version remains the quintessential faithful adaptation of the story.

Not to mention that it's creepy as all heck. The 1982 version is why I'm not a huge fan of pratical effects; the 2011 version uses CGI, which is much better than something that's TOO realistic, simply because it's not AS realistic.

I know I said something that no one else has said, but that doesn't mean I don't exist. Of course I exist. We all do. I'm sorry if I still don't follow.

The Thing from Another World (1951), John Carpenter's The Thing (1982), and The Thing (2011) which is a prequel to the '82 film.

The 1982 version was another adaptation of the John W. Campbell story "Who Goes There" which the 1951 version had little to do with the original story and was a very loose adaptation.

...i know? I've read the short story, and while alien is very different from the book in the '51 film, the whole thawing and discovery is semi-similar, which both the '51 and 2011 films have.
