Tutorials and Resources
- Warm/vintage edit: [link]
Materials and Methods
Nikon D80 + 50mm F1.8. GIMP for post editing. High ISO so I ended up trying out the ISO noise reduction. Warm/vintage edit though for this shot the screened layer was more pink than purple
Additional Comments
Just another one of those cliche shots I've been meaning to try for the longest time

gorgeous!
The way the background is blurry(circled? however you call it) really brings attention to the main part of the picture beautifully, but still lets the background keep its own beauty, as with all of your pictures with the blur/circle effect
I've been meaning to do a few shoots with dandelions too but never got around to it
they're all gone now, but they always come back.
There's this one ditch nearby that has a small forest of them, and it looks surreal on foggy days.

how can emotion en obtained by sentimental blackmail? I don't quite get this...
Btw, somehow, the picture gives a japanese sort of feel. I think it's the model's clothes and hair style and the general summer feel...

I love the way you composed this picture. I was going to do a "blowing a dandelion" photo before my camera was stolen

One of your best pieces yet!!!! Don't worry about the high ISO you can try and mask it with a film grain filter.
This defiantly screams professionalism. It almost looks like you made it for a book cover.
Btw your hair style is very pretty.

I don't know. I feel like this shot is a little too faded. Like, nothing really stands out anymore.
But it's a cute concept. (:

When i first started using gimp i had these two things on the side but now there is only one. One side is the tools and stuff but the other side is gone and idk how to make it come back
I also downloaded you scripts but i have no clue how to use them o.o i don't even know how to open it

I'm not sure which "thing" you're talking about, but most likely you've just un-viewed a tool bar. If the "thing" you're talking about is the Layers toolbox, just click Ctrl + L (hold down Ctrl while clicking the L key). Otherwise, you can try clicking things under View in the top menu.
There are instructions for how to install on the top of my website's GIMP script page where you downloaded the GIMP scripts
