I'll infer that CJ and Fenwick didn't scare Shope into eating sugar (like Bloo and Mac did). Instead, Shope accidentally ate the sugar.

Have you heard of Sailor Moon? I was thinking more of Shope pulling a "Sailor Moon" and getting sick from the juice, not from intimidation from Johnny. I was referencing the 1990's dub, which was kid-friendly.
