Description A colored pencil drawing made April 6th, 2007.
Apparently this strongwoman has just read a good book and wants to spread the word about it to anybody who'll listen.

Can I read with her?

She seems like the type who will just tell you the whole plot of the book.

I bet she was reading R.A. Heinlein's "Stranger in a strange land"!

One of my favorite piece on the internet. The colouring, the pose, the shape, the expression, the subject matter of 'She's a giant woman, but she still likes to read.' Everything, (also the fact that she's in a bikini and has a collar around her neck helps to.)

Fav+

Yep- it's a complex work- many levels.
Hah! Seriously, glad you like it though.

I read it from over her shoulder as I used my binoculars from the tree behind her house.

You really fucked up this time, Jeb! WHERE ARE THE GLASSES??!! And, anyway, that's not a book - it's a copy of her PhD thesis, "Sub-atomic superstructures, applied to tissue restoration and human body structural henhancment", on which she's been working for the last 3 years, and which has just been rejected by UCLA - because of behind-the-scenes skulldudgery by the evil Dr. Krabb, who intends to steal her work and use it to build an army of invincible super women...
On second thought, maybe a book IS a better idea.

At first glance it looked like some evangelical Christian encounter in the street - have you read the good book? Although if the people doing the preaching were all hot musclegirls like this, I'm sure I'd convert

Thanks for the great pic, man!

She's so adorable.
"Seriously, this Book is awesome, you should read it."

And I'd go with Uriel.. Glasses would give her even more Cuteness in that Case..

She looks so dead serious, like a friend who has found a hidden gem and keeps badgering you to read it. I didn't know that folks could capture that kind of emotion anymore. Hmm, For some reason, I really want to see this photoshopped with some ancient like parchment texture worked into the background, or perhaps a crumbling wall as if it were a fresco.

Good, that's the look I was going for with her!
That's a peculiar request. Hmm. It's doable- I'll try it and see what it looks like.

Hmm. I dunno if it would turn my students on to reading or not- I'm afraid I wouldn't be able to read terribly much with my eyeballs popping out of my skull and ogling her of their own accord...

Encouraging folks to read! Not bad!

Nice little label thing for stuff you love. Be even cooler if there was a "label generator" way to put the title of the work on the book cover.

Nice! Knowledge IS power!

JimmyDimples In reply to JimmyDimples [2007-08-24 07:29:27 +0000 UTC]

Or maybe you can do the top part in 3 by 4 square dimensions like a TV screen, and blow it up to something bigger. Just a suggestion...

Jebriodo In reply to JimmyDimples [2007-08-24 05:45:02 +0000 UTC]

Glad you like her! She'd need a bigger book, though, to get a legible title on there.
