RELATION TO CONTEST THEME: As this was originally planned for the contest before the completing the original, I tried my best to convey the emotion of red which in my opinion, is anger/rage. This was accomplished through the composition which focuses on the character, the expression and posture of the character, and use of the color red in the background to create a mood which supports the character's expression. Rather than making the red very obvious, having the subtle hint of red as a tint turned out to be more effective as it allowed focus to be given to the character.
