... after coming across a spirited discussion on the importance of signatures and symbols, I decided to see what I could come up with for one of my own.My original one was just an hourglass with a line down the middle, but that was from 9th grade and it felt more like, well... It felt 'old', I guess, and there's not a lot to do with such a signature. Besides, it was an acronym-symbol for 'Star Islands Zone', a project I long-since abandoned.
This is just messing around in Flash MX with the Brush Tool to find what sang to me. The winner is in another scrap.

Do u know what the hourglass with a line down the middle originally means?? It keeps haunting my thoughts and I draw it everywhere and on everything. I just want to know so It doesn't mean anything bad and so it will leave me alone.

Means nothing, far as I know.
When I used it, it was an Acronym for "Star Islands Zone" -- SIZ -- which, if you lay all the letters on top of each other, that's what it looked like.
