Entry for *Paintbrushy 's contest! I decided to practice my digital art a bit, and remembered seeing this contest.

Really, I love this piece! I'm going to have difficulty giving it a critique, but here goes:
Negatives/Improvements
> The hands on the girl look a little strange. Practicing drawing hands is really useful and there are many references on the internet that could be used to help you improve.
> Perhaps more noticeable dark and light tones would be better in some parts of the colouring such as the table.
Positives
> The character is so adorable. You have a really unique and recognisable style with both your drawing and colouring which is just wonderful.
> The details you've included in this such as the drawings in the background, the details on the clothing and hair, plus the background is just superb. There is so much to look at that I could stare at this for hours without getting bored.
> The colouring is so soft and neat, especially on the clothing and hair of the character. I really love the colouring style you've used too and the colours you chose are perfect.
