Description
My first oil painting ever.A portrait of Linnea Dark Garnett (Truebloodβ¦she says!): a Bordertown-born poet associated with the Mock Avenue Brotherhood. Known now as one the cityβs finest young writers, she achieved success only after leaving Bordertown for the World.

Excellent - Finder is my favourite book in the world, has been for so many years (I just had to write this same comment on a few other 'Finder' related pics!)
So nice to find others who like it as well. Isn't Tick-Tick's hair supposed to be chrome-yellow? Then again, the elves change their hair colour frequently neh. It'd be great to see you do a picture of Orient

I was going off of Phil Hale's original painting on the first printing of Bordertown. But I think you're right. I can't wait to see some of the folks behind the series at World Fantasy this year. And the new Bordertown book!
Cheers!

Here's where to find info on all things Bordertown:
[link]
There's a page there that features his original covers - not easy to navigate, but they're there; trust me.
Here's the link for World Fantasy 2011:

Wow, that link is great! I'm feeling really stunned and left out in the cold right now, since I hadn't realized there were so many books dealing with Bordertown :S
I first read Finder so long ago, and even remember asking around for more things Emma Bull - but now I see it is a variety of authors who collaborated. It's honestly been my favourite most influential book for most of my life, and now to find out I can branch out further... Wonderful.
Thanks again for all the information.
