Description Drawing with an eraser is fun.

I had to rub the paper black with charcoal, then take away with a putty eraser. Was hard at first, then got easier once I remembered to shape the rubber to a point.

looks awesome!
great work on the tones and details especially, for such a finicky technique!

i don't think i've tried that, but i do remember the old black paint over coloured crayon and scratching out the picture with a toothpick, that was fun trying to work out how to do tonal work with that.... haha i should find it and post it LOL

no problem. and i will try and find it, though that will mean venturing into the bungalow, the abode of numerous spiders, possums and possibly a snake...i don't really mind the spiders or snake....
but i've really got to find a better place to store my stuff

I never tryied that. You should repost it after a proper scan or shoot it under better lighting. But it looks cool none the less

You have managed to get the detail really well as that is a difficult technique.

Thanks a lot for the comment. It somehow was easier to me than drawing from scratch. It took a lot of conecentration, though.
