The Uprising has commenced. The Resistance, WAF, Combine Separatists, and remnants of Neo-Black Mesa began their offensive against the Combine Empire.

An assault team led by Z Kill were to rendezvous with Shadow [ ] and Alilkira [ ]'s team, but were ambushed by a huge number of Combine soldiers.

Z Kill: "Shadow, Cassie! This is Zulu Actual, do you copy!? We're pinned down by Combine infantries inside a building one klick South of your position! Kate and Tyler are down, and Johnathan is badly wounded! We need your team to get over here ASAP, over!

Johnathan: "I'm bleeding out..."
Z Kill: "Keep putting pressure on the wound, John!"
June: "Reloading, cover me!"
Xander: "THERE'S TOO MANY OF THEM!"
Z Kill: "JUST KEEP THEM SUPPRESSED!"

Z Kill: "REPEAT, THE COMBINE ARE ATTACKING US FROM ALL SIDES! WE NEED BACKUP ASAP! WE CAN'T HOLD THEM OFF ANY LONGER!"
