for the record... I know little to nothing about the card-game Canasta. I do know however that if you match a Joker with a pair of, say, Queen of Diamonds... that's a good thing *le giggle*Anyyyyywwwaaaayyyssss... this here is one of the coolest/sexiest couples in comic-book history. Even though they were first introduced on Batman: The Animated Series.
PS: I flat out stole the pose from the cover of the movie "Just Married" cause I thought the pose was kyoot. However, it looks much better like this xP

Yeah, Harley Quinn is deffinately my favorite villian, and she's just so cute when she's with The Joker, even if he's a bitch about it most of the time ;3
I drew this a while before The Dark Knight came out and got super popular, but now that The Joker is as loved as he is, I'm glad this picture is getting more attention.

Oh i knoooww~! Most of the time I don't mind and find his mean antics amusing, but it kinda upsets me when he denies all the cutesy, special things Harley does for him >:

Yeah, Harley is under-appreciated, and doesn't get the credit or recognition she deserves as a character. I loved The Dark Knight (then again, who didn't) but I have to say that I was pissed... PISSED, that they didn't have Harley in it. I mean, even just the blonde Dr. Harlene for like ONE scene would've made my entire summer fantastical.

Yes. I think it's mainly because with the way the movie was set up and all, they couldn't find the right actress to fill her shoes. I'm HOPING that was just it, instead of just shoving her aside. Also consider, they changed a lot of things about the Joker as well! Like for instance,the face paint. In the series, his face isn't painted white. It's chemically turned that way!

True, they could've changed her a bit aswell though. Like they wouldn't even have to ever meet... she could just be so fascinated and obsessed with him and his actions that she's always just watching for him and trying to figure out what makes him do the things he does. She could become Harley out of spite towards Batman even, like an obsessed copycat killer almost, trying to hurt batman out of revenge and love for The Joker.
I don't know. I just wish they'd do more with her, she's fantastic.

That sounds great, I could totally see them doing that with Harls. The only brick wall I run into is 'where would they show her?'. There's so many things going on in the entire movie, it's such a quick-shot type of film.I could kinda see them introducing her at the dinner party though, and have her as her doctor self, but fascinated with the Joker and his antics as you said.
It really is a crime they didn't do anything with her. :\ There's a million actresses they could have picked!

I'm hoping she'll be in the next sequel. It's pretty impossible for her to be in it because Heath died and it'd be weird to have her without the Joker, but I still say they should put her in it... like maybe have her acting out of revenge like I mentioned before, and have somebody mention that "somebody free'd The Joker from Arkham" or something along those lines. So atleast it still mentions something about The Joker but focusses more on Harley ?
They could still pull it off, but the writing would have to be done really well in order to make it seem possible.

That's true. Honorable mention is in need. But like I said (at least I think I said xD ), she isn't even in the comic book series. But that just wouldn't make sense because 'The Dark Knight' COMES from the animated series. They were probably just being lazy. They always leave poor Harls out of everything ):

I'm not a big fan of that show in any way... along with the ninja turtle cartoon... but I looooove Harlequins. So I always steal pictures of Harley Quinn.
I'm quite giddy about the new batman movie, however. Watching the trailer over and over, I still can hardly believe its Heath Ledger playing the Joker.

the Batman show I can understand... completely. I think I've seen maybe three episodes in the history of EVER. It's not as amazing as it could be, for sure... but TMNT, WTF. You better be talking about the new one... the original TMNT show from the 80's is the best tv show that ever was.
Harley Quinn is my favorite 'comic villain' though. She's funny, and cute, and badass... all at once.
I know what you mean, I'm excited for the movie aswell... but it makes me sad because I don't think Harley is in it... but if this is faithful to the comics at all... The Joker won't die this time, he'll get thrown in Arkham Asylum where miss Harley here works. Then in the sequel to this new Batman Movie, she'll become 'Harley Quinn', fall in love with him, and break him out. I can only hope.

I really hated Batman Begins, but if they go that route, I think I could really start to like those movies. I'm already hella excited in general that they ditched Katie Holms.

yeah, I have the first two seasons on dvd, but I's missin' the rest.
I liked how they went with the Scarecrow, he was scurry... but yeah, it was a little too much training and crap and not enough badass batman stuffs... but yeah, they're going a lot more darker and spookier, hense why this one is called 'The Dark Knight' and not 'Batman' I'm quite excited indeed.

oooh, I'm glad somebody likes the cards... that was sorta last minute, it seemed too plain without a background element... and it seemed strange to have just a regular heart, so I figured what could be more fitting than a heart made of playing cards.
