Description
I love the rustic look I got out of this photo. This bridge was perfect for a nice rustic look. This was taken in Elizabeth Park, Trenton, Michigan. What do you think?FULL VIEW RECOMMENDED!

Thank you very much! I hope so too.
Michigan can be quite beautiful, if you know where to look.

Super shot, super bridge that's got style (rare these days). While the colour most obviously has been altered for effect (yeah, it works), I think sometimes that altering the natural ambience of daylight (and all that that entails upon what it strikes...etc.,) looses out to...well...naturalness.

Thank you! Check out this photo of the same bridge, but with natural colors: [link]

Ah, much better (well, for my eye anyway). Light colour, time of day, temperature, exposure...etc., are things we forget to take into account sometimes. We can control the latter, but the former three are with the Gods, I'm afraid - they just haven't a clue about modern-day cameras, do they? )

I like to experiment with my photos. Generally I leave them with their natural colors, unless if I make them black and white. But sometimes, when I see something like the bridge above, I just HAVE to bring my artistic side out, and play with the colors, etc. It's one thing I love about being a photographer. It's the closest I can get to painting/drawing.
