Description This is my first tutorial submitted to DA, I'm really hoping that I did it correctly.

Its a walk-through of the hazy landscape image I submitted a while back. If it proves to be useful, I'll upload the tutorial of my wolf image as well

[edit: Bah... it won't let me edit the html... sorry it won't let you view the larger version of the images online. I tried to do everything according to the tutorial instructions but maybe links just won't work? If you download the zip and extract it to a folder it should work find though. Sorry about that ]

I would be insane to even open this without the possession of a tablet.

Well, I suppose I'm simply wacky, then.

I can't wait until I save up enough for a tablet. I tried doing what is shown in some of your tutorials and got very frustrated because I totally suck.

I love this! It has a very dramatic effect! I can't download it though, as I receive the message of something to do with the server. Hoping that will get fixed fast, as I really want to download your tut and give it a shot.

Your work is amazing, very inspiring, especially to a newbie like myself.

I like the scenery. Reminds me of my summers in northern Minnesota with my grandparents & g-grandmother. Lots of woods, lakes & swamps to canoe among...calling in the loons in the fog. Was a great time.
Hope to get a hint or two for doing some of my art on computer. Looked into the Macon tablet you suggested. Little pricey but will figure something out. Thanks.

uhm... you're just saying what you did, but not really how u did it.

you lost me after step 1. im not a n00b, well to airbrushing yes, but i kow all the tools and stuff and im not grasping how you went from step 1 to step 2. with just 'swoosh swoosh'

Man I love that 'painting'. I really dig the hazy effect. How did you do that? Did you merely use Photoshop? Or were there more programs used?

This is going to be fun trying this one. I love the ambience in this.
I haven't done anything like this in Photoshop so I don't know if I can or can't (probably can't) the tutorial will help guide me through it in a much more ordered process compared to how I would have gone about doing it.
Thanks for being such a kind & generous person. I have encountered people who've been less than helpful and more than unpleasant.

The picture links don't work in the view online. I thought I should let you know.

Just make sure you have read jarks tutorial tutorial, on how to make them work properly.
It is here https://www.deviantart.com/deviation.php? id=125177

Awesome painting though.

it looks awesomeness

was this photoshop or paintshop you did it in? (i'm trying to figure out how the hazy effect would be had and ima thinking layers in ps so you could have it behind some things but over some)

very cool for a general idea of what you did instead of spoonfeeding us this way we have to think a bit for ourselves
