hmm... wonder who will win (raises eyebrow curiously). very nice with the brutality that I am sure will follow this scene.

I second the opinion voiced by Castelus, that looks like it's bound to end badly...
Loving the sense of movement and perspective here.

Badly for one of them, perhaps. I'm trying to be impartial here!

I'd buy it and really post this one up on my wall in my room, but I'm way too broke and it sucks. Sorry, buddy. I do really dig this. I really like your illustration along with explanation for it. I'm always fascinated in your explanations because their just pretty damn good most of the time. I love the way you draw those really intense Monster faces. I just really dig it overall. Another one of your oddball beauties goin into my collection. I wish I could leave you a 'critique', but I don't have the premium membership, so I'll just leave you with my intense appreciation and continuous frequent visits cuz I truly am a huge fan of your work. Take care, James.

Thanks for the all the compliments! I know all about being broke, but if things were easier I'd send you a print for free.
I used a different process for this picture, but I think the gamble paid off. My second last piece (The Usurper) was a highly detailed, static portrait with a late medieval/early renaissance feel. This one owes more to dramatic nineteenth century art. I've deliberately kept it rough, as too much fine detail can make objects look fixed in place. I haven't done many action scenes, but I'm happy with this one - there's a real sense of weight and motion and the lighting is effective. You'll be seeing a lot more!

eh, no worries, james. You don't owe me jack-shit. It's more like I owe you in a way cuz I've collected so may of your pieces for free. I really do cherish each of them for their wicked appearance and morbid story behind each one. Well, Hoping to see more of your work like always....I don't mean that in the way that I'm rushing you for more, cuz I know they take time and this one was just recently posted. I can always wait. I know Great art takes time. So, I'll wait as long as it takes. I just mean that I pretty much look forward to a lot of your work, James. I mean it. You might be my favorite wicked artist on here. I like a few Cartoony styled illustraters as well, But I really dig your work to a higher extent. So much that I've even saved some of your work into my comp in case I loose the internet or sumthin...
well, enough of my rambles. See ya around, Jimmy.

Bold and beautiful. And, no I don't care about the daytime TV reference. Good job.
