A commission of Fabian Rangel's character. [link]I gave myself a rule to use little to no purple on this one. I've been a little too purple happy on these color pieces.

Very cool James, I absolutely love this piece, I like that it has a different feel than your purple pieces, it definitely feels a whole lot warmer than your previous pieces, they were a whole lot cooler because of the colour choice which is not necessarily a bad thing, just refreshing to see you try something different, just shows you are willing to try something new for a change, which is really cool to see in artists. I know it is Fabian Rangel's character, but I still think the design and composition is pretty cool, I love the placement of the images, definitely very dynamic. My absolute favourite part of this piece is the lightning and the effect of burnt metal, I was wondering how you did those two things, because they are done extremely well and they are entirely believable. It is an awesome work of art. Keep up the awesome work James, looking forward to new pieces in the future. Peace out.

Thanks, dude! For some of the rusted metal effect, besides just painting it in manually in photoshop I also laid down a texture layer underneath the two figures.
