Description In some ways I am no happier than I was with the last version of this image, but it is certainly smoother and I think there is a greater emphasis on the character. The hair details around the periphery are certainly much better here.

To offer a critique, the glow effect doesn't look quite natural. I think the glow gradient itself is too large and pronounced. Perhaps just make the object itself a bright color with a slight gradient, and show that it's glowing by focusing on the light reflecting off of the surrounding surfaces like you did on the underside of her chin.

Thanks for the feedback, and I agree. It is over the top If I did the same render today I doubt I'd do it this way.

It reminds me of an S&M version of Milla Jovovich's tape outfit in The Fifth Element.

Wow this reander came out great. The lighting is great in the render. The model is beautiful. I love the scifi effect on the arms. Keep up the excellent work.

Thanks I was quite happy with the way this eventually turned out, but I was aiming for a more realistic skin tone and effects. Also been working on getting the bump maps working correctly on the cyborg arms but Lux is not liking what I do. Many thanks.

Hey, a fellow Lux'er! We've got a bitchin' Lux thread going on Renderosity, via the Reality plug-in of course. Since daz's forum went down, I practically pulled up a cot in the back. Come join the fun! [link]

You're not wrong about that thread. Lots of great work in there. Looks like a good place to pick up some tips too.

Thanks If you look hard enough you will see where I got sick and tired of doing the fixes and decided enough was enough.

Oh, I've done that more than once, lol. Don't worry, it looks great to me. I would however, NOT want to wear those spikes at the top of my stockings.

Indeed - even if they were flexible.
