Since Billy can be pain in ass when he gives silly riddles. I have no idea how other pilots deal with him but I guess he has his entertaining moments. Not to forget to mention bets where he usually tries to win some money or grub (and maybe raunchy postcard XD). Definitely worse than a sphinx.-----------------------------------------------
Just testing and playing a bit with speedpaint technique. Idk where did the style come from. But looks cool.

I like how it mixed your style but also paint like speed art. His face is definitelly my fav. Also fits him.
Also I hate to say this but without gotee he looks more like a man from that era. I somehow feel like it fits him more.

Well honestly if I did this few months ago i would be like "No way, he must have a goatee." but actually, is true... It fits him more in that era without it. Oh well I am keeping goatee in modern and pirate au XD

gotee is good for pirate or modern au, I agree! I definitelly see him with it, and I kind of miss it too, but... after all people on that era didint wear that. Maybe moustache or but yeah.
(dont worry, I also changed my ocs look only to fit more into the era xD)

im sO sorry to butt in here!! but i couldn't help it haha, i love history chats like this and i know what it's like to have to sacrifice a trait you like on a character to make it more historically accurate haha. it's true that really, beards/goatees weren't really in fashion in the 1940s and men were mostly clean shaven. He looks cute with facial hair rather than clean face, idk clean face makes him look to chubby and child like. Which I guess neither I nor he wants.

Yes, haha him being clean shaven does make him look a lot younger, i'm not sure exactly how old billy actually is though haha!
oh god,,, oh gOD im actually becoming really attached to moustachioed billy, it kind of fits with his kind of flirty joker-ish charm?? and it certainly makes him look very fitting to the era. of course it's your call what you decide on in the end, billy will always be a cutie regardless of his facial hairstyle!

Basically a "kid", he was 18/19 when war started in 1939.
I was thinking about it more and I've decided to make him have mustache just for one period of time at RAF. Somehow it fits him but it's such weird change for me. I don't think I can handle it. But I like the facial hair idea a lot!

and yeah i think that works well, it makes him look like an older man haha would he only have this style when he was older perhaps? and HAHA! I know that feeling, i have a ww1 oc, he's just an ordinary british tommy and he has a moustache but i decided that it made him look to old to be 18 (the age he was when he first joined up in 1916) so i decided he grew it whilst he was in the trenches. haha it was so weird to draw his younger self without it, his face seemed naked!

Never watched it, looks crappy, only saw the cover few times somewhere in my country. But title is funny. Anyway, feel free to share me that oc, I am interested to see him *u*
