This is great, Jim, but I wish you'd make this in a 'metro' style----like sharp corners, no glossy overlay? The same dark color, but maybe slightly transparent, like 80%?

Hmm..Yes it will be great but I'm afraid that is not so easy. This widget was actually an old Android app adn I decided to port it for XWidget.
So I used the default/built-in images. I'll try to edit them though with GIMP and see if I can remove the glossy overlay..

I tried and I find a way with GIMP to "paint" the background of the images! But since I had to do it manually for each image separately it will need some time.. Are total 83 images! But I think that at the end will be like your request..
I'll try to finish it for tomorrow..

Oh man--thanks Jim, really. I know there are a lot of images. I opened it up too, and actually remade the 2 12-hour images, Monday-Friday, Default, and bg....Using Tahoma font, which is probably not exact. All-in-all it was looking good, but I was dreading having to re-do all the images in the 'm' folder!!!
If you feel like fooling with it, fine, if not no worries mate! I'm sure others, though, might also like it with a more un-glossy, flat, metro look.

Haha I know, the "m" folder is the "worst"!
But with a little patience I think that I can do it..
