Description
As the date for the tournament drew closer the Solar System Control Committee decided to amp up Eva training to make sure she was operating at full capacity. Eva was sent to a private facility on Earth, deep in frozen mountains of the Yukon. There in the dead of winter her trainer escorted her to a frozen lake close by. There they walked on the frozen lake until they came across a hole that was made in the ice. Once there Eva trainer told her to undress. Eva obeyed and started to take off her coat, followed by her sweater, pants, boots and socks. Once undress Eva stood there wearing only a thin sports bikini that she was told to wear before they left, it offered no protection against the cold air and icy ground she was standing on. Eva felt like shivering but knew she would be punished if she showed any weakness. Next the trainer took out four metal cuffs from a backpack he brought, he quickly locked them around her ankles and wrists. They were quite heavy despite their size, adding at least a pound each.

Once the cuffs were in place Eva trainer told her the training exercise. Eva is to dive into the frozen lake a recover backpack filled with ten pounds of weight hidden on the bottom. Eva will not be given a wetsuit, air tank or flashlight to aid in her search. All she is given is a diver’s mask. She has ten minutes to complete the task, if she fails there will be a penalty. Eva gave a nod that she understood the rules and began to prepare for her dive by putting the mask over her face. Once she knew that it was tight Eva sat on the edge of the hole and slowly lowered herself into the water to give her body time to adjust to the frigid water. Normally a person would have a least a wetsuit to help them insulate some of their body heat, but her sports bikini offered no protection from the icy waters. As her trainer started to count down from ten, Eva started to breath deeply knowing that it would be a while before she would come back up for air. Once the trainer reached zero Eva took the biggest breath she could and dove in.
