: Laylani is right in reality the Spawn issue #300 has more sales than the latest Spider-man comic and manga is dominating comic book sales in north america for example as I'm writing this the One Piece manga has sold over 300,000,000 copies worldwide way more than all of the marvel comics in north america and DC comics combined, I'm not saying this to mess with anyone here so please don't take any offense I just know that to be at least somewhat true.

: that's also the reason why Spawn is doing better than Spider-Man right now in comic sales because they never reboot Spawn's character, they just continue with his character plus the thing about manga is that they don't need to always reboot their stories cause when you do that, that's a sign that you made a badly written story. if you're gonna write a continuing story, keep the same character you first made and make a new character that does not mess with the first one you made that's how one piece work so well.

: that's also the reason why digimon never reboots itself cause the franchise makes an alternate universe after every season since adventure 02 until xros wars came along and used the main idea to remake the original adventure series concept and made a whole new adventure although with less characters which is good in itself.
